Who We Are:

Our client is a growing precision manufacturing facility seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support CNC machining, fabrication equipment, and facility operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

They are seeking an experienced and self-driven Maintenance Technician to join their team!

What You’ll Do:

Perform preventive maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, 5-axis machines, Wire EDMs, surface grinders, band saws, and fabrication equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues.
Maintain and repair MIG and TIG welding equipment.
Service facility systems including air compressors, coolant systems, dust collection systems, and overhead cranes/hoists.
Perform general building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical systems, and safety equipment.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.
Order maintenance supplies, tools, and replacement parts while managing costs.
Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and continuous improvement efforts.
Work closely with machine operators, programmers, and leadership to resolve equipment issues.
Participate in safety inspections and maintain OSHA compliance.
Train employees on proper equipment care and basic preventive maintenance.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

What You Need to Have:

3+ years of maintenance experience in a machine shop, fabrication, or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with CNC machinery and manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of motors, drives, sensors, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience maintaining welding equipment and fabrication machinery.
Basic welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Musts:

Must be a U.S. Citizen
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand for the entire shift
Ability to comply with OSHA and ITAR regulations.

Preferred:

Experience with preventive maintenance program development.
Experience supporting high-precision CNC machining operations.
Background maintaining facility support systems and industrial equipment.
