Keep the Shop Ready. Keep the Field Moving.
Full-Time | On-Site | Overtime Eligible
Compensation: $25/hour
If you are the kind of person who sees a disorganized shop, an overdue vehicle repair, a missing material request, or an employee without the equipment they need—and immediately wants to fix it—this may be your role.
Mr. Electric of Clark County is looking for a hands-on Logistics Specialist to help keep our field operation organized, equipped, and ready to serve customers.
Your job is to make sure our Service Professionals and Installers have the materials, vehicles, tools, equipment, technology, and support they need—when they need it.
This isn't a desk-only Logistics role. You'll work in the shop, coordinate with vendors, manage materials and fleet needs, solve problems, support the field, and help build better systems as you go.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to step into meaningful responsibility, become a key part of the operation, and grow as the company continues to grow.
The goal is simple: keep the field ready to serve customers.
What You'll OwnYou’ll manage material requests from start to finish—sourcing materials, coordinating orders and pickups, working with suppliers, communicating delays, and making sure requests don't disappear into a black hole.
You’ll help ensure the field gets the right materials at the right time while using company purchasing resources responsibly.
Shop, Inventory, Van Stock & Company AssetsYou’ll help make sure the shop is organized, stocked, safe, and ready to support the field every day.
That includes:
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing materials
- Maintaining inventory controls and accurate stock levels
- Keeping the shop clean, labeled, and easy to operate from
- Maintaining standard van-stock levels and replenishment
- Keeping vans organized to company standards
- Conducting regular van-stock and organization checks
- Tracking tools, specialty equipment, ladders, trailers, iPads, and other company assets
- Managing the assignment, return, repair, and replacement of company equipment
- Making sure tools and equipment are safe, functional, and available when needed
If something belongs to the company and supports the field, Logistics helps make sure it's where it belongs and ready to use.
Fleet & Vehicle ReadinessYou’ll help keep our vehicles on the road by coordinating preventative maintenance, repairs, tires, inspections, vendors, GPS and security equipment, vehicle records, and replacement-vehicle needs when necessary.
You’ll proactively identify vehicle needs and help get problems addressed before they become bigger disruptions.
A major part of the job is reducing preventable vehicle downtime.
New-Hire Field ReadinessWhen a new Service Professional or Installer joins the team, you’ll make sure they're ready to go.
That can include:
- Welcome kit
- Uniforms
- iPad and field technology
- Tools and safety equipment
- Keys and company assets
- Vehicle assignment
The expectation is simple:
when a new team member enters the field, Logistics has done its part to make them ready.
You’ll be the first stop for basic iPad and field-technology issues.
You’ll help troubleshoot common device, login, application, connectivity, and settings problems, coordinate replacement equipment when needed, and elevate more advanced issues to the appropriate support resource.
You don't need to be an IT expert. You do need to be comfortable with technology, willing to troubleshoot, and committed to helping get people back to work.
What Success Looks LikeYou’ll know you’re succeeding when:
- The field consistently has what it needs to work.
- Material requests are handled reliably and communicated clearly.
- The shop, inventory, vans, tools, and company assets are organized, accounted for, and ready to use.
- Vehicles are proactively maintained and avoidable downtime is reduced.
- New Service Professionals and Installers arrive in the field prepared.
- Problems get owned and solved instead of passed around.
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes ownership. You notice what needs attention and take action.
- Creates order. You naturally organize spaces, information,…
