Plant Electrician

This is a night shift role working four 12 hour shifts per week - 6pm-6am

Wage: $46- $48 per hour plus differentials

• Performs Electrical Troubleshooting and repair of production machinery
• Performs Preventive Maintenance on manufacturing equipment and electrical systems
• Installs new equipment and modifies existing equipment
• Assists with safety system upgrades of equipment
• Other duties as assigned, including mechanical work as needed

• Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
• Must have basic math skills, use a calculator and read a tape measure
• Must be able to work cohesively in a team environment
• Current Oregon Electrical License (Limited Maintenance Electrician, Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician; General Journeyman Electrician)
• Must have troubleshooting ability with automated complex machinery
• Familiar with PLCs, HMIs and Frequency Drives
• Familiar with proximity switches, limit switches, light curtains, proximity scanners, and other sensors
• Proficient with contractors, starters, overloads, and relays
• Must be able to read electrical schematics
• Mechanical experience is a plus
• Must follow NEC guidelines
