HVAC Residential Service Technician

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00/hour, based on experience

We're hiring a Residential HVAC Service Technician who takes pride in solving problems, communicating clearly, and providing homeowners with a positive service experience from start to finish.

• Troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and safety inspections
• Manage assigned service calls and communicate arrival times effectively
• Help homeowners understand system conditions and available solutions
• Provide repair and replacement recommendations when appropriate
• Record accurate notes, service findings, and completed work
• Coordinate with dispatch to maintain an efficient daily schedule
• Protect customers' homes and leave each work area clean
• Uphold company safety and customer-service expectations

• Proven experience servicing residential HVAC equipment
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to organize and complete multiple service calls each day
• Honest, professional communication with customers and coworkers
• Comfortable discussing repair options and system improvements
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Universal EPA Certification
• NATE Certification or willingness to obtain

This isn't a heavily micromanaged position. You'll be trusted to run your service calls, make sound decisions in the field, and ask for support when you need it.
