Cool Sys is seeking a Foreman HVAC Installation to lead field crews for commercial and industrial projects within our Engineering & Maintenance team. You'll oversee installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems, read plans and specs, coordinate materials and schedules, and ensure work meets Cool Sys quality, safety, and code standards. You'll work hands-on while mentoring technicians, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with project managers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on commercial and industrial projects
  • Install, pipe, set, and start up HVAC and refrigeration equipment per plans and specs
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and job scope documents
  • Coordinate scheduling, materials, and subcontractors with project managers
  • Ensure all work complies with safety policies, codes, and quality standards
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate technicians and apprentices in the field
  • Troubleshoot installation and start-up issues and resolve field problems
  • Communicate job progress, changes, and issues with customers and internal teams
  • Complete required field documentation, reports, and as-built information
  • Support continuous improvement, tool care, and a clean, organized jobsite
