Maintenance Technician
Location:
SE Portland, OR + Travel
Paying $32 / HR to $40 / HR
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial smokers and refrigeration units
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and startup
- Travel to customer sites nationwide to perform on-site service (approximately 50% travel after training)
- Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with internal teams
- Support shop operations, including testing, repairs, and prep work, when not in the field
- Accurately document service work, findings, and repairs
- Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company standards
- Represent Enviro-Pak professionally and positively in customer-facing environments
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Previous experience servicing industrial smokers, ovens, or commercial refrigeration equipment
- Field service technician experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical certifications or coursework
- Experience working in food processing or industrial manufacturing environments
- Basic computer skills for service documentation and reporting
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs
Environment / Shift
- 22,000 sq ft. fabrication shop.
- This role does require travel ~20% of the time
- Day shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
