Alpha Transport Inc. possesses the capability to conduct maintenance and repairs for our fleet efficiently across all our markets. Alpha Transport Inc. is looking for a knowledgeable, efficient, safe, and quality oriented Truck and Trailer Mechanic.

This mobile mechanic will be responsible for a broad range of maintenance and repairs on our equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with equipment
• Preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Major and minor repairs
• Air and electrical system troubleshooting and repairs
• Minor diesel engine repairs
• Suspension, brake systems and component repairs
• Tire maintenance
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Must be willing to travel between markets
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Basic computer skills
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a certified diesel mechanic
• Must own tools
• DOT certified

• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a certified diesel mechanic
• Welding experience
• CDL Class A driver’s license
