Who You Are:- Knowledgeable:
You bring either lived experience or expert learned experience about the commercial sex trades or sex trafficking to the role, as well as experience navigating crisis related to trafficking and the sex trades. - Reliable Advocate:

You understand how systemic oppression impacts the lives of youth in programs and the systems that influence these struggles. You approach this world with humility and a deep sense of growth and learning.
- 1:1 Support:
You will be the first point of contact for referrals and youth calling the New Day warm line. You will provide in-person advocacy, safety planning, and resource navigation in a community-based setting to youth - Crisis Support:
Support youth in navigating crisis and provide crisis interventions as appropriate. - Data Compliance:
Maintain required documentation, including case notes, processing referrals, case files, and expenditures. - This position is based at the Youth CNCT building at 41 SE 102nd Avenue and launches into community to meet with youth, returning to Youth CNCT or other New Avenues locations between meetings and at the end of the day
- Minimum of 1-year experience working with high-risk youth or providing services to individuals in the sex trades, experiencing sex trafficking, or experiencing crisis related to sexual violence OR a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology or related human services field experience required.
