* JOB PURPOSE:
** The Graduate Assistant (GA) position at Lewis & Clark Community Counseling Center is responsible for providing support to the daily operations of the center. They also serve as part of the Intake Screening Team, which is responsible for conducing phone screening with prospective clients to determine appropriate disposition of cases. GAs report directly to the L&C CCC Director.
** PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

* Must be a graduate student enrolled in PMHC, PMHCA, MCFT, Art Therapy or School Psychology programs.

* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Manage center client master schedule.
* Manage incoming phone and e-mail communications during shift.
* Assist practicum students and supervisors with administrative tasks as needed.
* Assist in connecting client communications with counselor-trainees and supervisors (e.g., phone calls or other contacts between sessions).
* Facilitate file audits to ensure clinical documentation and files are completed.
* Aid in file management including opening new client files and closing client files during termination.
* Conduct Phone Intake Screenings with prospective clients to determine appropriateness of fit for our services.
* Assist in managing the Audio/Video technology and software used at the center.
* Assist the Director with relevant tasks as needed.
Administrative Training and Mentorship:
Center GAs also gain training and mentorship by the Director in running a clinic. Students who are interested in future administrative interests are encouraged to apply.

*** GAs typically work between 4-18 hours per week depending on their availability and desire for hours.
