The Learning Gardens Lab envisions thriving communities where regenerative practices and joyful learning create lasting connections between people and the planet. LGL fosters sustainable leadership and lifelong learning for people of all ages through garden-based education, reciprocal relationships with the land, and collaborative engagement in regenerative food systems.

The Learning Gardens Lab hosts volunteer work parties once a month from 10 am to 3 pm. Work parties are an opportunity to connect with LGL, build community & give back to the land.

All Work Parties at LGL start with an opening circle of movement, breath, reflection & introductions. After that, we’ll get started on some projects throughout the site. Projects may include weeding, wood chipping, seed starting, planting, compost turning, and more! When you volunteer with LGL, you will be introduced to the site and our team, and learn about our regenerative farming practices.

• Age: Volunteers of all ages are able to participate in this opportunity; under 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
• What to wear/bring: Closed‑toe shoes; comfortable attire suitable for light activity and a water bottle.

Referral Opportunity: This opportunity is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. After you express interest, the partner will contact you with next steps and confirmation details.
