Position: HOUSING PROGRAM SUPERVISOR
The Housing Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, coaching, operational oversight, and ongoing development of Housing Coordinators within SEI’s Housing Programs. This role ensures the consistent implementation of housing program systems, case management practices, participant engagement strategies, compliance standards, and program workflows across placement and retention programs.

The Housing Supervisor supports staff in effectively utilizing SEI’s housing frameworks, tools, trackers, assessments, participant planning systems, and documentation standards to promote housing stability, participant progress, and program compliance. This role focuses heavily on staff coaching, accountability systems, data oversight, workflow monitoring, one-on-one supervision, and reinforcing trauma-informed, participant-centered, and Assertive Engagement service delivery practices.

The Housing Supervisor works closely with the Housing Program Manager to ensure program operations are functioning effectively, program expectations are being met, and staff are receiving the support, structure, and guidance needed to maintain high-quality service delivery. This position reports to the Housing Program Manager.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES STAFF SUPERVISION & COACHINGConduct regular one-on-one supervision meetings

Support coordinators in participant strategy development

Reinforce SEI service delivery expectations and workflows

Provide coaching around engagement, documentation, case planning, and housing stabilization

Support staff growth through feedback, reflection, and skill-building

Monitor workload organization, follow-through, and accountability

Support implementation of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and participant-centered practices

Reinforce Assertive Engagement and relationship-based service approaches

Program Operations & Workflow Oversight Monitor program workflows and participant movement

Oversee caseload organization and operational consistency

Ensure coordinators are utilizing required tools, trackers, and systems

Support implementation of housing program structures and workflows

Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, or barriers

Reinforce consistency across program processes

Support continuous improvement efforts and workflow refinement

Assist with implementation of departmental systems and standard operating procedures

Compliance, Documentation & Data Oversight Review participant files, case notes, and program documentation

Ensure compliance with SEI, HSD, HMIS/Well Sky, and funding requirements

Monitor data quality, timeliness, and documentation standards

Support staff in maintaining accurate participant records

Reinforce file management and documentation expectations

Monitor program performance measures and reporting practices

Assist with preparation for audits, monitoring, and compliance reviews

Participant Service Strategy & Housing Stability Support Support coordinators in developing individualized housing stabilization strategies

Review participant progress, barriers, and engagement approaches

Reinforce participant-centered planning and service coordination

Support financial assistance planning and spending strategies

Assist staff in navigating complex participant situations and housing barriers

Encourage long-term housing stability and coordinated care approaches

Collaboration & Cross-System Coordination Collaborate with the Housing Program Manager and leadership team Participate in case conferencing, coordinated access meetings, and program meetings

Maintain relationships with landlords, community partners, and service providers

Support cross-program communication and continuity of care Coordinate with external systems supporting participant housing stability

Minimum 2 years of experience in homeless housing, supportive housing, case management, housing navigation, or related human services work.

Previous supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience preferred.

Strong understanding of housing stability work, participant engagement, trauma-informed care, crisis response, and barrier reduction strategies.
