About Cultivate Initiatives:

We are a group of people who work alongside those on the margins to empower individuals and communities through an inclusive range of services and support. We build communities from the inside out through community engagement and action, workforce development, housing, and sheltering.

** Please note that any applicants must have completed the Cultivate Initiatives internship program prior to employment. Applicants who have already completed the internship program will be prioritized.**

** This position is timebound position and will end 1_year from the start date.**

Compensation/Benefits:

  • $20.00/hour to start

Accountability:

  • Accountable to the Property Stewardship Program Manager and Beautification Lead (while offsite)

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide community beautification services such as graffiti removal, waste removal, and other services as requested
  • Maintain safety of self, team, and surroundings while providing services
  • Represent Cultivate Initiatives to various partners and community members
  • Participate in meetings and trainings
  • May participate in special projects and activities
  • May perform other duties as requested by supervisor

Work Conditions and

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
  • Ability to work in environments with varying noise levels, from quiet offices to louder, industrial settings.
  • Work requires the ability to perform manual labor requiring the full range of body movement.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Being physically present in the CI offices from 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or religious exemption
