Overview

Experis Game Solutions is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support our partner who is a leading organization in the interactive entertainment industry. As a Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting AI products in development The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in AI, demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a passion for quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Range: $22.15 + depending on experience

What’s the Job?

  • Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to define test strategies, coverage plans, and identify risk areas.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, exploratory, and ad-hoc testing across manual and automated pipelines.
  • Maintain, update, and author test cases and suites, ensuring they evolve with new features and requirements.
  • Log, verify, and track bugs; review peer reports for accuracy, completeness, and duplication.
  • Support automation efforts, monitor automated test results, and ensure coverage reliability.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including automation and exploratory testing.
  • Strong interest in working with XR and/or AI, on a variety of hardware/software.
  • Experience owning the creation and execution of test coverage.
  • Experience reviewing peer reports to ensure quality and accuracy.
