Description
Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers (typically early in the development process) to design, operate, grow, and improve large‑scale computer‑based services offered to IS, non‑IS and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with their Development, Test, Operations, and Program Management counterparts. The role requires leadership and coaching to bring a cutting‑edge service management mindset and skill set to the organization, handling high ambiguity, driving clear strategy and implementation plans, and ensuring business, service, and team success across a wide business unit while maintaining enterprise‑wide IS services.
Service Engineers will:
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable services.
- Lead technical teams in a fast‑moving environment.
- Use data and metrics to inform behavior, process improvements, and priorities.
- Mentor and develop team members while championing continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering - or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
- 8 or more years of related experience.
- 6 or more years of experience leading technical teams in a complex and fast‑moving environment.
- Strong experience leveraging data and metrics to drive decisions across teams and information services.
- Experience in a Healthcare environment.
