Overview

Pacifi Corp is seeking customer‑centric candidates to grow and sustain a culture of customer service excellence, environmental sustainability, and inclusion & belonging.

• $77,200 – $96,500 annual base salary.
• Annual discretionary performance incentive bonus up to 12% of salary.

• Support enterprise Geographical Information Systems (GIS) across multiple affiliates.
• Work with senior specialists to design, code, test, and implement complex programs; develop program and system documentation according to IT standards.
• Assist in enhancing existing systems; participate in client walkthroughs and technical design reviews.
• Aid in system development planning and monitoring.
• Participate in design reviews and peer code walkthroughs.
• Provide client and application support.
• Ensure conformance to performance optimization and interoperability standards.
• Develop subject‑matter expertise through consultation with clients and IT supporting the company’s IT strategy and business requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to identify technical deficits and improvement opportunities.
• Apply industry standard techniques such as automated unit testing, test‑driven development, continuous integration, and iterative development.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience in business software application design, development, and implementation.
• Knowledge of Object‑Oriented Design (OOD) methodologies and languages.
• Consultative aptitude including communication and interpersonal skills to understand client needs and define requirements.
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies, tools, and applications.
• Understanding of structured analysis and technical design concepts.
• Familiarity with common industry architectural patterns and software design patterns.
• Ability to work in a zero‑code‑ownership environment where any team member may modify any source file.

• Understanding of change and release management processes and procedures.
• Hands‑on experience in Java, C# .NET, PL/SQL and other common enterprise computing programming languages.
• Experience with Test‑Driven Design (TDD).
• Experience with other development methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Scrum or similar.
