QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium Web Driver, Java, API testing, SQL, and Agile methodologies. Experience in insurance or banking domains is a plus.

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium Web Driver, TestNG, and Maven.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Execute API testing using Postman or SoapUI and validate request/response data.
• Write SQL queries to validate backend data and perform database testing.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or Client ALM.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and Dev Ops teams to ensure software quality.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect reports.

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium Web Driver.
• Experience with TestNG, Maven, and automation framework development.
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or SoapUI.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or Client ALM.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of XML/JSON and REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
