We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader within the engineering organization. This role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, mentorship, and cloud architecture expertise. You will lead significant cross-team initiatives, build scalable cloud-native applications on AWS, establish engineering best practices, and help guide technical decisions across the platform. The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, mentoring teammates, and delivering high-quality software through influence and collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, build, test, and operate scalable cloud-native applications, APIs, integrations, and workflow solutions.
- Architect and implement solutions using AWS services and modern distributed system patterns.
- Develop reusable frameworks, shared components, and platform capabilities.
- Lead implementation of complex technical features across multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot issues spanning application, infrastructure, and platform layers.
- Maintain high standards for code quality, security, and maintainability.
- Serve as the technical lead for significant engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams or functional areas.
- Guide architectural decisions and solution design within assigned domains.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders on platform architecture and engineering standards.
- Drive technical alignment across projects and development teams.
- Help identify and mitigate technical risks before they impact delivery.
- Champion software quality, automation, observability, and modern engineering practices.
- Promote CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud operational excellence, and security best practices.
- Improve system scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, QA, Data, and Operations teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Mentor engineers through design reviews, implementation guidance, and technical coaching.
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and the growth of engineering capabilities across the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
- 3+ years building and operating production workloads on AWS.
- Experience designing APIs, integrations, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, SQS/SNS, Event Bridge, Step Functions, Cloud Watch, and IAM.
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with .NET, C#, Type Script, Angular, React, and modern web frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, ECS/Fargate, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled capabilities or workflow automation solutions.
- Healthcare, insurance, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience.
- Familiarity with HIPAA, SOC2, HITRUST, and AWS cloud security best practices.
- AWS certification preferred.
