Role Purpose
The Cabin Cleaning Lead is responsible for leading a team of Cabin Cleaning Agents in the safe and efficient cleaning of the interior of a commercial aircraft while ensuring cabin safety in accordance with Company/Carrier standards.
Responsibilities- Lead agents in cleaning all assigned commercial aircraft thoroughly and efficiently.
- Assist Cabin Cleaning Agents to ensure they perform duties in a professional, safe, and efficient manner according to standards.
- Provide on‑the‑job or airline‑specific training or assign employees to work with experienced agents.
- Prepare cleaning supplies such as solvents for aircraft cleaning.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is operational and protective clothing is worn as instructed.
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, disinfect, and clean all areas of the aircraft.
- Remove blankets and pillows or replace them with clean ones based on customer requests.
- Deposit soiled linens into the laundry bin.
- Return all cleaning supplies and equipment to the designated storage area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. Requirements- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Six (6) months of janitorial, customer service or hospitality experience.
- Possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
- Must pass all pre‑employment testing, including drug testing and a physical.
- Proficient reading, writing and speaking in English.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
- Comfortable lifting 70 lbs repetitively.
- Obtain and maintain all required airport and custom badges/seals.
- Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Capable of working indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions.
- Previous cabin cleaning experience.
- Previous aircraft cabin cleaning, janitorial, hospitality, or airport operations experience.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
