What you'll do
- Serve as PIC in IFR operations under Part 135, ensuring safety, compliance, and on‑time performance.
- Lead and mentor the flight crew, championing CRM and SOP adherence.
- Plan, brief, and execute each flight: weather, routing, alternates, performance, weight & balance, fuel, and MEL considerations.
- Maintain instrument proficiency and readiness for line checks, recurrent training, and audits.
- Deliver a professional customer experience while operating in diverse environments, including night, IMC, and multi‑leg cross‑country segments.
- Total time: 3,000 hours
- PIC time: 1,000 hours
- Multi‑engine: 500 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
- Flight time notes:
- 500 hours cross‑country (point‑to‑point)
- 200 hours instrument (50 in an aircraft)
- 100 hours night
- License: FAA CPL with IR and ME
- Accepted licenses: FAA
- Medical: FAA Class 2
- Meets FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions.
- Previous FAR 121/135 experience.
- Current IPC or 121/135 recurrent within the past 6 months.
- High‑performance and complex endorsements.
- Meets airport badging requirements, including TSA security background check.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid driver’s license meeting company insurance criteria.
- Current passport — simulator training conducted at Flight Safety Paris Le Bourget Learning Center; passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date.
- No type rating required — comprehensive aircraft training provided.
- Simulator training at Flight Safety Paris Le Bourget Learning Center.
- Ongoing recurrent and proficiency training to maintain currency and standards.
- Pivotal leadership role as Captain on a proven twin‑turboprop.
- Permanent employment with a Part 135 operator focused on safety and professionalism.
- Build turbine and multi‑engine PIC time while flying purposeful missions.
