Job Title: Courier |
Location: 4400 NE Halsey St, Portland, OR 97213

Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Additional hours may be required.

In this role you will be responsible for the pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies, and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.

• Cover various routes in Portland and South Portland areas.
• Load all necessary supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule in a timely manner.
• Deliver all daily picks to the branch at end of shift.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently.
• Operate company vehicle safely and obey all traffic laws.
• Use handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups.
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pickups as needed.
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed.
• Utilize company vehicle; only $125 per month to take vehicle home.

• No experience or education required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months or more experience as a driver or medical courier.
• 6 months or more experience in customer service.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21 years old.
• Strong time‑management and punctuality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem‑solving customer issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

$17.75 – $26.12 per hour. Plus 2nd/3rd shift differentials.

Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
