Salary & Benefits

Salary ranges from $60,000 - $75,000 + bonuses. 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Medical/Dental Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Life Insurance.

Shift Time

Monday – Friday: 4:30pm – 2:30am.

Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • Experience managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
  • Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
  • Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees.
  • Desire to deliver customer excellence in service.
  • High aptitude for technology.
  • Ability to multi‑task while being detail‑oriented.
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work an average of 50 hours per week.
  • Capable of working any shift, including nights and/or weekends, and in any weather condition.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints in a high‑pressure environment with multiple priorities.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
Duties
  • Oversee inbound operations for your designated section of the terminal dock, including loading, managing forklift traffic, and overseeing proper unloading of palletized freight.
  • Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to achieve a designated production schedule.
  • Ensure proper loading of carriers by monitoring the cube and weight of trailers.
  • Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers, dock workers and dock hand.
  • Monitor dock production, ensuring facility Key Performance Indicator goals are met and/or exceeded.
  • Track hours and overtime.
  • Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the company operational model.
  • Support a culture of excellence in product quality for internal and external customers.
