Responsibilities
- Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
- Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex service features.
- Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area.
- Provides related customer service functions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience- Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate area knowledge.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of the station’s service area preferred.
- Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Neat appearance required due to customer contact. Must meet and maintain qualifications outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations. Requires a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements for the assigned vehicle type and have a good driving record as outlined in policy. Non‑covered safety‑sensitive position.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be 21 or older and have had a valid driver’s license for the previous three‑year period.
Starting at $24.70 per hour up to $34.84 per hour. The company offers eligible employees health, vision, and dental insurance, retirement plans, and tuition reimbursement.
Work ScheduleFull time, Tuesday through Saturday, 6am‑6pm. Position will remain open until 7/7/26.
