Delivery truck driver position in Portland, OR.
This is a physically demanding role that requires consistent heavy lifting in a non‑climate controlled environment. Do not apply if you are uncomfortable working under these conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide deliveries to customers safely and on time, strictly following Amarr’s policies in the Driver Handbook (e.g., pre‑trip inspections, log books, safe driving).
- Maintain all driver certification documents ready for display at all times.
- Assist in completing production orders in the warehouse when not driving.
- Accurately load and unload customers, inspecting for damaged materials.
- Unload and receive incoming product accurately.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (2+ years preferred).
- Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
- Warehouse duties performed in a non‑climate controlled environment.
- Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50‑75 lbs.).
- Ability to meet and comply with DOT regulations.
- Successfully complete the internal Driver Training Program.
- Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm (flexibility for early or late deliveries may be required).
