Job Summary

This is a permanent, full-time position located at 7201 Northeast Alderwood Road, Portland, OR 97218. The role is a Dispatcher for the Customer Service Center, responsible for monitoring flights, aircraft equipment changes, and ensuring accurate and timely flight catering. The position requires active communication with drivers, dispatchers, and internal/external stakeholders, and accurate reporting of all flight information.

$23.10 per hour.

• Operate the dispatch center and provide critical information regarding aircraft equipment changes, shortages, substitutions, and other operational updates.
• Pull OT zeros, PW, and RGS for airline AA.
• Determine the order in which flights must be catered.
• Monitor all equipment changes, late flights, gate changes, and ensure all flights are tracked for timeliness.
• Track and document all flights and aircraft nose numbers.
• Ensure drivers properly call off the dock, complete F/C, Y/C, Seal Checks, and Block Outs.
• Report arrivals, departures, gate information, and all cancellations.
• Cover shifts and manage sick call coverage; maintain operations 24/7.

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in Airline Industry – Ramp Operations and Dispatch Experience.
• Ability to interpret flight specifications and menu/galley specifications.
• Proficient with various computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, must be fluent in English.
• Detail oriented with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Team spirited and flexible with scheduling, days off, and start times.
