Aircraft Fueler

Position Overview

The aircraft Fueler is responsible for safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. Duties include performing mathematical calculations for weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions related to fueling.

This role requires maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, driving and operating fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Maintain accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily quality control checks on equipment and keep equipment clean and functional.
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Defuel aircraft as directed.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience handling fueling carts and hoses, including lifting and moving up to 70 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Availability and flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the oil and gas industry.

• Education: High School or better.
• Experience: Preferred experience in fueling, aviation, or related fields.
