Delivery Truck Driver

We have adeliverytruck driver opening in Portland, ORand are looking for the best to join our team.

This is a physically demanding job with consistent heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. Please only apply if you are comfortable working in those conditions.

Provide deliveries to customers in a safe andtimelymanner while strictly following

Amarr’spolicies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections,log books, safe driving, etc.).

Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.

Assistin the completion of production ordersin warehouse when not driving.

Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).

Unload and accurately receive incoming product.

Valid driver's license.

Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required (2+ years preferred).

Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.

Warehouse dutiesperformedin a non-climate controlled environment.

Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.

Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (50-75 lbs.).

Ability to meet andcomply withDOT regulations.

Successfully complete internal Driver Training Program

Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’ss driver standards

Must be 21 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent.

This position is Monday
-Friday from 7am–4pm, however flexibility is required in case early or late deliveries are needed. The pay rate is $26-28/hr based on experience. Candidates for this position must have a good attitude, a desire to work hard with a great team, and the ability to be a self-starter.
