Class A Driver

Role:

Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering product from the warehouse to customers, ensuring proper unloading, documentation, and adherence to safety and food safety protocols.

• Operate tractor-trailer units, including straight trucks and 3-axle trailers, in various weather and traffic conditions.
• Unload products manually or with carts, placing items in designated customer storage areas while following safety and handling procedures.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, invoices, and reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety standards, and sanitary conditions in both the vehicle and warehouse.
• Build strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices.

High school diploma or GED, with preferred tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A CDL license, knowledge of safety and food safety standards, effective communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle hazardous materials are required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in various weather conditions, and handle physical tasks like climbing, reaching, and bending. Occasional exposure to humid, cold, hot conditions, and moving mechanical parts, with moderate noise levels. The role may involve working nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
