Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor - Graveyard
Department: Warehouse
Location: On-site
Shift: 8 hour Graveyard Shift, 11 PM - 7:30 AM Monday - Friday
Compensation: Starts at a base of $28.68/Hr. with a $2.00/Hr. shift differential
DescriptionPosition Overview:
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures production goals for their assigned shift are met while providing support, training, and supervision for employees and temporary staff. This position facilitates communication between staff and management, assigns tasks to staff, sets up recall orders, and assists with pulling orders.
- Supervises all employees assigned to shift.
- Acts as backup PIC to Assistant Warehouse Manager, or on shifts where there is no other management present.
- Operates forklift within all areas of the facility.
- Coordinates and covers duties for absent personnel.
- Ensures documentation is complete, legible and conforms with company SOPs, policies, and procedures.
- Assists in meeting warehouse KPI’s and reporting metrics.
- Directs training for Warehouse personnel while providing timely feedback on performance.
- Monitors quality control throughout entire warehouse and distribution processes.
- Creates a team mentality and fosters a collaborative work environment.
- Increases production by identifying and implementing approved processes.
- Identifies faulty equipment and notifies proper personnel and departments.
- Trains new staff and develops existing staff.
- Facilitates communication between warehouse shifts, as well as department management.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and operates all equipment in a safe and food-safe manner.
- Complies with Bob’s Red Mill food safety policies and procedures including adherence to FDA regulations, Safe Quality Food (SQF) Standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Responsible for reporting food safety and quality concerns to Supervisors and/or Department Manager.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
- This position has limited supervisory responsibilities over assigned personnel and staffing agency associates.
- This position reports to the Assistant Warehouse Manager.
- Familiar with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Basic understanding of employment law.

- 6 or more years of warehouse or distribution experience, AND
- Experience managing, supervising, or otherwise leading a team, AND
- High school diploma or equivalent; OR
- Any combination of education and additional years of experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to perform assigned tasks.
- Frequently requires the ability to lift and stack items weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Position may require standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Good physical dexterity with the ability to climb step ladders and stairs, squat, kneel, stand for long periods of time, reach overhead, and walk on uneven surfaces.
- The primary work environment for this position is within a fast-paced warehouse, where temperatures may fluctuate seasonally.
