Warehouse & Transportation Manager
Location: NW Portland
Pay: $65,000+ DOE + annual performance bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00AM-4:00PM
Who We Are:Our client is a growing distribution and logistics operation seeking an experienced Warehouse & Transportation Manager to lead daily warehouse functions, transportation coordination, inventory management, and team development. This is a hands‑on leadership role within a collaborative environment that values safety, accountability, efficiency, and strong team culture.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory, and logistics
- Lead, train, and support warehouse personnel to ensure high performance and accountability
- Maintain a strong safety‑first culture and enforce OSHA best practices
- Coordinate transportation activity and process daily purchase orders
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Support hands‑on warehouse activities including loading/unloading trucks, trailers, and containers
- Ensure inventory accuracy and smooth warehouse workflow

- Minimum 3+ years of warehouse management experience
- Strong background in logistics, inventory control, and warehouse operations
- Supervisory and team leadership experience
- ERP and LTL freight experience
- Understanding of warehouse distribution processes and materials management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Hands‑on leadership mentality
- OSHA and warehouse safety knowledge
- Ability to multitask and wear multiple hats
- Experience supporting fast‑paced warehouse operations
- Reliable, accountable, and team‑oriented attitude
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Experience managing transportation coordination and fulfillment operations
- Forklift and warehouse equipment experience
