Job Description

The Logistics and Warehouse Operations Coordinator will lead the implementation, ownership, and ongoing management of a new ERP system to support a full-service moving and logistics operation. This role focuses on optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring accurate inventory control, and coordinating logistics activities while providing data-driven reporting to leadership. The position combines hands‑on operational oversight with systems thinking and offers the opportunity to shape scalable warehouse and logistics workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Implement, configure, and manage the new ERP system (Extensiv) to support order management, inventory tracking, and warehouse management processes.

  • Evaluate existing warehouse and logistics operations from a systems and scalability standpoint and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Assign daily tasks to warehouse staff and coordinate workflows to ensure a smooth flow of goods from receiving through storage to dispatch.

  • Optimize warehouse storage space, layout, and slotting to maximize capacity and improve picking and put‑away efficiency.

  • Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.

  • Prepare and review bills of lading (BOL) and other shipping documentation, verifying the accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.

  • Oversee and perform cycle counts, monitor stock levels, and reconcile inventory discrepancies in the ERP/WMS system.

  • Generate and maintain operational reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) and present them to the General Manager.

  • Monitor logistics and warehouse performance metrics and use data insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate with office and warehouse teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment, inventory records, and shipping documentation.

  • Ensure that all system processes and warehouse procedures are documented, standardized, and followed by the team.

  • Support shipping and receiving activities as needed, including verifying shipments, coordinating with carriers, and resolving issues.

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and system updates related to inventory, orders, and shipments.

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on the use of the ERP/WMS and related operational processes.

  • Work primarily in an office environment while maintaining close coordination with warehouse operations.

Essential Skills
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in logistics or warehouse management.

  • Strong experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, or ERP platforms.

  • Prior experience using Extensiv or similar ERP/WMS platforms such as Ship Hero, Cin7, Ordoro, Net Suite (Oracle), or Logiwa.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Hands‑on experience in logistics management, including coordination with freight carriers and shipping documentation.

  • Experience in inventory management, including cycle counts, stock level tracking, and discrepancy resolution.

  • Experience in warehouse management, including task assignment, workflow coordination, and storage optimization.

  • Experience in operations management within a warehouse or logistics environment.

  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes and documentation, including bills of lading (BOL).

  • Ability to interpret and manage data in an ERP/WMS to generate reports and KPIs.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both system work and physical inventory.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy and ownership.

  • Comfort working in both office and warehouse settings as needed.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required.

  • Experience in storage, logistics, or related operations.

  • Experience owning or implementing a WMS/ERP software from rollout through steady‑state operations.

  • Strong computer literacy and comfort working with new software platforms.

  • Self‑starter mindset with the ability to identify process gaps and propose solutions.

  • Ability to communicate clearly with both office and warehouse teams.
