Position Description
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour. The primary focus of the Warehouse II role is the movement of product within the warehouse. This is a general labor position that will prioritize and pick product to fill orders and physically move and lift product weighing up to 150 pounds. The role will also serve as a backup delivery driver for non-CDL trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in administrative tasks such as handling and preparing paperwork and supporting the daily closing of the warehouse.
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing products, report inventory shortages and assist with periodic inventory counts.
- Compile and submit reports on damaged, outdated stock, over/under shipments and returned products, and segregate defective items from normal inventory.
- Prioritize and pick materials to fill orders, stage product for loading, and designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, lifting products up to 150 pounds, handle tires heavier than 50 pounds, and operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) safely and maintain operator license if required.
- Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks such as cleaning parking lot, loading dock, floors, and bathrooms, and assist with daily closing.

- Storage – Optimize storage of warehouse, plant, equipment, materials and supplies.
- Verbal Communication – Express ideas and plans clearly.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of policy & procedures, storage, and verbal communication.
- Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds and handle heavy tires.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, reach with arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Oftentimes required to lift products weighing up to 150 pounds and handle tires heavier than 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Work environment may include exposure to weather conditions; noise level usually moderate.
- Travel required about 5% of the time.
