Equipment Operator

Our client, in the warehousing and logistics industry, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and shipment processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00AM - ~2:30PM

• Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks.
• Unload trailers, verify loads for accuracy, and stage items for put-away.
• Pull customer orders from warehouse locations and utilize conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
• Load trucks according to delivery requirements, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
• Maintain proper inventory levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools, and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift 35-48 lbs consistently and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
• Own reliable transportation (for equipment operators).
• Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Compliance with background checks, drug screening, and other onboarding requirements.
