Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver
Location: Portland, OR
Pay Range: $20.00-$24.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Successful HVAC jobs start well before a technician or installer arrives at the customer's home. They depend on having the correct equipment, materials, tools, and supplies ready when they are needed.
Jacobs Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to help keep our warehouse organized, prepare materials for upcoming jobs, and provide timely support to our field teams.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in staying organized, following through, and helping the entire operation run more efficiently.

- Review installation and service schedules to prepare materials for upcoming jobs
- Pull, verify, label, and stage equipment, fittings, tools, and supplies
- Confirm materials match job paperwork before crews leave the warehouse
- Load and unload company vehicles safely
- Receive deliveries and inspect shipments for shortages or visible damage
- Label and store equipment and materials in the correct warehouse locations
- Complete local deliveries and pickups from job sites, vendors, and supply houses
- Replenish truck stock and report shortages before they affect scheduled work
- Maintain delivery records, material sheets, tool logs, and inventory documentation
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
- Keep the warehouse, shop, yard, loading areas, and delivery vehicle clean and safe
- Communicate delays, damaged items, shortages, or missing materials promptly
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate a company van or delivery truck
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 pounds
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to follow written material lists, work orders, and delivery instructions
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision
- Basic computer or inventory-system skills
Previous warehouse, stockroom, delivery, forklift, or HVAC-related experience is preferred but not required.
