Take full operational ownership of a fast-paced technical warehouse powering complex, multi-event logistics. This business delivers high-spec production solutions and needs a sharp, systems-driven leader to manage day-to-day depot operations, equipment readiness, inventory accuracy, and multi-truck transport scheduling.
The Role
Based primarily on-site at a major operational hub, you will bridge the gap between high-level logistics planning and hands-on site execution. You will lead a dedicated warehouse team, establishing clear daily priorities, setting quality control standards, and holding people accountable for flawless prep. Working closely with Project Managers, you will translate complex event specifications into executable gear pulls, identify equipment conflicts early, and manage subrentals to keep margin tight.
You will also oversee fleet maintenance, facility safety, physical inventory counts, and senior-level troubleshooting when gear returns from the field.
What You Need
- Operations Leadership: 5+ years managing physical logistics, technical depot operations, or rental inventory in a fast-turnaround environment.
- Systems & Process Driven: Excellent command of inventory tracking systems, asset management, and workflow optimisation.
- Technical Aptitude: Strong ability to grasp complex technical kit, signal flows, and equipment maintenance (live event/AV sector experience is a massive plus).
- Hands-On Leadership: A leader who thrives on planning and team management, but isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when deadlines hit.
- Requirements: Clean driving licence and full physical capability to handle gear in a busy depot.
