The Design Engineer will focus on contributing to the world class design and development of power distribution systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), data center infrastructure, and associated components focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

* Provide high-quality designs of large-scale BESS and data center power infrastructure products based on customer specifications

* Apply engineering principles to design or modify products for prototype testing.

* Participate in design reviews of all products designed within the department.

* Support quoting activities and customer specification reviews to develop solutions that effectively meet customer needs

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

* Create detailed part designs and drawings using Solid Works software.

* Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal departments to deliver best-in-class products to the energy storage, data center and renewable energy industries
