Summary:

Shoals Technologies Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager – ERP & Enterprise Systems to lead strategic technology initiatives that support our fast-growing manufacturing operations. This role will be responsible for managing complex enterprise projects with a strong focus on ERP implementations, manufacturing systems, Net Suite, system design, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.

As a member of the Shoals PMO, this individual will partner closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, IT, and external vendors to successfully deliver enterprise technology solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and business performance. The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with hands-on experience leading ERP implementations in manufacturing environments, utilizing both Agile and traditional project management methodologies.

This position requires a strategic leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, manage project portfolios, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery of projects from concept through deployment and post-production support.

Responsibilities:

ERP & Enterprise Systems Leadership Lead end-to-end ERP and enterprise application projects, including planning, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and project closure.

Manage large-scale ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimization initiatives, with a strong preference for Net Suite ERP experience.

Partner with business stakeholders to align ERP capabilities with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, inventory management, procurement, and operational objectives.

Facilitate requirements gathering, business process mapping, solution design, and system configuration activities.

Ensure ERP solutions support current operational needs while enabling future growth and scalability.

Project & Program Management Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and communication strategies.

Lead cross-functional teams consisting of business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, consultants, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance resources.

Manage project scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes.

Establish project governance processes and provide regular status reporting to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain delivery commitments.

Systems Design & SDLC Management Facilitate solution architecture discussions and support system design decisions that align with business and technical requirements.

Apply strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including requirements management, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure scalable, supportable, and secure solutions are delivered.

Oversee testing strategies, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment planning, and production readiness activities.

Ensure adherence to project management, change management, and system development best practices.

Agile Delivery & Team Leadership Lead Agile project activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, standups, and release planning.

Promote Agile principles while balancing governance needs within a manufacturing enterprise environment.

Remove organizational roadblocks and facilitate collaboration across teams.

Coach project teams and stakeholders on project management and Agile best practices.

Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, and innovation.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
8+ years of project management experience leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
