Personal/Technical
Skills:
- Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)
- Available for training as required
- Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
- Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and follow written work instructions
- Available to work overtime as required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate machines such as a robotic welder, assembly station, or other types of equipment
- Set-up and/or change over all tooling
- Conduct "break test" at designated time intervals, keep log and make adjustments as necessary
- Keep all safety curtains/guards in place during operation
- Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving welder area for quality
- Fill in all reports properly and completely
- Maintain good housekeeping around equipment.
- Report all quality, production or safety problems to the production manager
- Maintain all tools in proper places
- Operate for trucks as required
- Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)
- Re-work parts as per instructions
- Preventative maintenance as instructed
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds frequently
- Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day
- Must be able to pass a drug screen.
