A prestigious Japanese automotive parts manufacturer with a 140-year history is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Sales Manager for its consolidated Tennessee location. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales operations of the US entity, maintaining strong relationships with major automotive OEMs (primarily Toyota), and aggressively expanding business into the US domestic market (e.g., Ford). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical production capabilities and customer needs while leading a small, dedicated sales team.
AccountManagement
Oversee and maintain existing accounts, with a primary focus on Toyota‑related business.
Business DevelopmentIdentify and capture new business opportunities within current production capacities, specifically targeting US domestic OEMs and non‑automotive sectors (Home Appliances).
Sales StrategyDevelop and implement sales plans, mid‑to‑long‑term sales forecasts, and revenue analysis.
Team LeadershipManage and mentor a team of 5 to improve sales activities and reporting standards.
Cross‑functional CollaborationCoordinate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
ReportingRegularly report sales performance and market trends to the Executive Vice President and Headquarters in Japan.
Working Hours and StyleHours:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Core hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Style: 100% On‑site (Tennessee plant).
