Cart Attendant

Location:

WM Supercenter #5460, 2000 US Highway 181, Portland, TX

Shift options: 8:00 am – 11:00 am or 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.

Cart Attendants ensure customers have a great first and last impression of our stores. Responsibilities include gathering carts from the parking lot, operating equipment to move carts into the store, maintaining sanitation and cleanliness of the carts, scanning items, bagging items, handling cash, and keeping the area clean. Requires a positive attitude in all weather conditions.

• Gather and move shopping carts from the parking lot to the store, and return them to the parking lot.
• Operate cart-moving equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of carts, sales floor, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Assist in scanning items, bagging groceries, counting cash back, and handling customer transactions.
• Provide courteous customer service, greeting, thanking, and addressing inquiries.
• Support other associates as needed across the store.

• Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to help customers.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while working quickly and accurately.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Capability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
