** Job Description
** The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, and ensuring accurate cost allocation to support financial planning and decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Calculation and Review of rates
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes related to cost analysis.
* Perform variance analysis between actual and standard costs.
* Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate cost data.
* Support internal and external audits with cost-related documentation.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly cost accounting reports for management review.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP standards.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 2–4 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with standard costing and variance analysis.
* Knowledge of inventory management and cost allocation methods.
* Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.
