We’re partnering with a well-established professional services organization to find a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a Trusts & Estates team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to person in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

What You’ll Do
  • Proofread, edit, finalize, and distribute legal documents with a sharp eye for detail and deadlines
  • Manage incoming calls and messages; provide thoughtful support to clients and colleagues
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and document intake
  • Transcribe and prepare correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents
  • Coordinate meetings, client appointments, and logistics (rooms, materials, hospitality)
  • Support travel and seminar logistics as needed
  • Maintain calendars and proactively flag upcoming commitments
  • Prepare and finalize monthly billing
  • Run preliminary conflict checks using internal systems
  • Organize, maintain, and retrieve files and records
  • Support administrative processes such as new matter intake, expense reports, and CLE tracking
  • Partner cross-functionally to support attorneys and teams across the organization
  • Follow up on requests and pitch in on additional projects as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Trusts & Estates or estate planning/administration work
  • Professional, client-focused communication style
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and solution-minded
  • Comfortable with technology; strong Microsoft Word skills required (Excel/PowerPoint a plus)
