Schedule8am-4:30pm M-F with 2 in-office days per week (Hybrid work)
Compensation$23-25/hr based on experience
FedPoint, a leading third-party insurance administrator, is seeking a Temporary Compliance Specialist to assist in our team efforts. This administrative position plays a key role in ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, including processing legal documents, managing inquiries, and supporting various compliance projects. You’ll work closely with the Compliance team to maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities- Process HIPAA Authorizations and other Legal Documents
:
Process customers’ legal documents related to our current insurance programs. Handle requests, approvals, and denials in compliance with regulations. - Collaborate with Legal Teams
:
Work with our legal team to help ensure expedient processing of documents.
- Education
:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; coursework in business/legal process (paralegal, etc.) is a plus. - Experience
: 2+ years in a compliance or insurance-related role, with experience in legal document handling preferred. - Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of HIPAA preferred
