Position SummaryThe Project Executive provides senior-level leadership for assigned construction projects from business development and preconstruction through closeout. This role is accountable for project performance, including profitability, schedule, quality, client satisfaction, risk management, and team effectiveness.
The Project Executive serves as the senior operational leader who ensures alignment between preconstruction, project management, field operations, and company leadership. The role provides strategic direction to Project Managers and Superintendents, removes obstacles, develops people, and ensures projects are delivered in accordance with company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Project Oversight- Provide senior-level leadership and accountability for assigned projects from business development through closeout, including financial, operational, contractual, profitability, budget, schedule, quality, safety, client satisfaction, risk, and team performance.
- Establish clear expectations for Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams, ensuring consistent execution of company standards, processes, and SOPs.
- Identify emerging issues, remove obstacles, resolve challenges, and elevate significant risks, issues, or opportunities to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Business Development and company leadership to identify, evaluate, and pursue new project opportunities based on client needs, profitability, risk, complexity, resources, and execution requirements.
- Represent the Company’s capabilities and value proposition, leveraging industry relationships to support leads, proposals, presentations, interviews, negotiations, and go/no-go decisions.
- Partner with Preconstruction to develop budgets, schedules, logistics plans, staffing plans, risk strategies, procurement approaches, and execution plans.
