Operations Manager
A leading engineering, procurement, and construction company is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex capital projects from concept through commissioning. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering project leader with strong client-facing skills and deep experience managing scope, schedule, budget, and technical execution. Working collaboratively, the new leader will drive successful project delivery by coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Salary+ Additional Benefits:

Type of Position:Direct Hire
Responsibilities:- Responsible for client relationship development and maintenance, project execution, schedule and budget management, project engineering oversight, project start‑up, and project closeout.
- Responsible for developing, overseeing design, and managing all aspects of LNG projects including liquefaction, storage, truck transfer, and vaporization of LNG.
- Report to senior management and project teams on project status, budget, and schedule.
- Report to and hold meetings with clients to review project updates.
- Review design, procurement, and operations specifications for equipment and systems.
- Field commissioning and troubleshooting support of LNG plant startup and operations.
- Coordinate internal and external resources throughout project, including team leads, construction managers, and commissioning team.
- Review calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions and drawings.
- Maintain technical proficiency and code expertise in the LNG field (49
CFR
193, NFPA 59A, ASME B31.3, BPVC Section VIII). - Develop cost estimates and proposals in response to client requests.
- Develop drawings for fabrication and construction of plant piping and equipment systems in collaboration with the engineering and design team. This may include interdisciplinary work with civil, electrical, process, and controls project groups to optimize design.
- Travel to sites approximately 10‑15% of the time.
- BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience
- Hands‑on experience in the field/at sites is highly preferred
- P.E. License is highly desired
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and co‑workers
- Ability to manage and mentor a multi‑disciplinary project team
- Experience in design of cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, oil, or power systems
- Previous work specifying pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, heaters, coolers, boilers, or pressure vessels
- Site or field experience installing, operating, or troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to set priorities, to be self‑disciplined and consistent
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office and MS Project
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and co‑workers
