- Research, compile, and examine a wide variety of project-related data
- Assist staff with various projects and/or field assignments
- Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD
- Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer
- Prepare written communications including emails, memoranda, field reports, and specifications
- Support infrastructure projects across the Northeast
- Contribute to site planning and design through conceptual design, permitting, construction documents, bidding, and construction oversight activities
- Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing a degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Previous and relevant work experience
- Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems
- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness
- Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD preferred
- At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college-level academic program preferred
- Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting preferred
Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD and design software, with a strong foundation in Civil or Environmental Engineering principles. Capable of conducting engineering calculations, preparing written communications, and supporting infrastructure projects through various phases of planning and execution.
