• Assist with field surveys for boundary, topographic, construction, utility, and ALTA/NSPS projects.
• Operate surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, data collectors, and levels.
• Collect accurate field measurements and survey data.
• Perform construction stakeout and field layout activities.
• Assist in preparing survey maps, plats, sketches, and legal descriptions.
• Conduct deed and boundary research using public records and survey databases.
• Process and verify field data using surveying software.
• Support drone, LiDAR, and reality capture efforts when applicable.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
• Follow established safety procedures during field operations.
• Coordinate with survey crews, engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Assist with quality control reviews of survey deliverables.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Internship, co-op, or prior surveying experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of surveying principles and field procedures.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Survey, or similar software preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and terrain.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• Survey Technician certification or interest in pursuing Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure.
• Experience with GPS/GNSS technology and data collection software.
• Familiarity with boundary surveying, construction layout, and topographic surveys.
• Knowledge of state surveying standards and procedures.

• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
