Travel CVOR Technologist

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel assignment in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

We are looking for CVOR/Surgical Technicians with at least 2 years of recent acute care experience.

• Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, arranging and inventorying sterile set‑up for cardiac operations.
• Pass items to doctors and nurses as needed.
• Demonstrate aseptic technique: set up required equipment and sterile supplies, pull cases, and break down cases at the end of the procedure.
• Be knowledgeable regarding instrumentation, equipment, and supply needs for all types of surgical procedures.
• Perform delegated duties consistent with scope of practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
• Assist with moving and positioning of patient.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Confirm procedure with patient.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Meet technical skills as outlined in the checklist.

• NBSTSA Certification required.
• BLS, ACLS, and 1 year of experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 20 pounds; ability to lift patients up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Good stress coping skills and ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.

All CVOR/Surgical Technicians are required to hold the NBSTSA Certification to be eligible for employment with TNAA.

Pay package is based on 9‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
