Part-Time Lab Courier - Northeast Dermatology - North Andover, MA

Position Summary: The Part-time Lab Courier is responsible for the timely pickup, transfer, and delivery of medical specimens and records between laboratories, practice offices, and clinics.

Pay and

Hours:

Pay range is $20 - $22 per hour.

Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with potential additional days as needed for coverage. Hours after 4:00 PM EST.

Essential Functions:

• Operate a company vehicle across various roads and weather conditions.
• Safely transport laboratory specimens, medical records, pharmacy items, interoffice mail, and other related materials.
• Exhibit safe and courteous driving practices.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, ensuring positive interactions with patients, vendors, employees, and the public.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a customer service role.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

This role requires a proactive, dependable, and detail-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit for extended periods; use hands and arms to manipulate objects; occasionally lift, push, pull or move up to 20 pounds.
• Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
