Part Time Banquet Set-Up - AC Hotel Portsmouth Job Portsmouth area,New Hampshire USA,Hospitality / Hotel / Catering

The AC Hotel Portsmouth, a Colwen Hotels Property, is looking for Part Time Banquet Set-Up Staff to assist with the set up for all functions, events, and weddings at the AC Portsmouth, Envio, and the Venue. Responsibilities include moving and setting up tables, chairs, bars, and private event decor. The Houseman will also be required to perform limited functions such as watering tables, clearing trash and removing tables, chairs, bars and decor once the event has finished.

General Responsibilities:

Efficient and correct set up of tables, chairs, platforms/stages, and other equipment as specified by group requirements.
Adherence to all applicable Colwen/brand standards.
Check and adjust lighting as needed.
Check electrical connections for proper working order and tape down exposed cords.
Assist with banquet AV.
Pick up and deliver boxes/materials for events as needed.
Service and refresh function rooms during breaks.
Break down of tables, chairs, platforms/stages and return in good/clean condition to storage areas.
Keep function and equipment storage clean and in good working condition.
Assist servers with setting and clearing of banquet tables, stocking service stations, and assist with buffet/coffee break/table service to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Safely deliver carts of soiled dishes/glassware/flatware to kitchen for washing.
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all events including silver, linen and condiments.
Transport all needed service materials and props to banquet/function rooms and storage.
Other related duties as assigned.
