Cloud Operations Architecture Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure, reliability, and performance issues
• Plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Facilitate team workflows (planning, standups, retrospectives)
• Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize cloud environments through automation and best practices
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to align priorities and delivery timelines
• Drive continuous improvement, including adoption of new technologies and cost optimization strategies
• Mentor and coach engineers, supporting technical growth and fostering a strong team culture

• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve advanced issues across distributed systems
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and drive cloud infrastructure improvement initiatives
• Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers in a technical or team leadership capacity
